Monotonous Mankind

Why is life so boring? Achievement after achievement, people progress through life trying to get a little bit better or get that next promotion never reaching the end. I can't stop thinking about the next thing and there is only extremely temporary joy for me in achievements. So how do we break out of the monotonous and break into the exciting. A couple disclaimers will be examined. Logic demonstrates the holes in a boring life. Lastly time being independent and therefore its value being established.

An important disclaimer should be mentioned humans by our very nature are creatures which have circularly systems so obviously some boringness of life is necessary. Life should be taken advantage of as much as possible. Another disclaimer is that by no means are rules established by God making life boring, to live life to the fullest we must live inside the parameters which God has set up.

Circular logic helps explain why this system is so futile.  Circular logic is a logical fallacy which would look something like this. I'm right because I'm right. Obviously that isn't a good proof in an argument. Surprisingly life is a lot like that, achievements in a never ending loop. Where for example, I'm getting this next promotion to get this promotion there is never a perceivable end. So if you wouldn't argue circularly why would you live your life that way?

So essentially being not bored can be summarized in living. We must think about the now and how the now is frivolous if only to exist for the future. The now must derive its value independently and must not be dependent on the future. The now derives its value from the future if your last achievement is dependent on the next achievement. I can never really enjoy accomplishment, because the thought there is another unaccomplished goal bothers me. So live today, don't plan on living tomorrow.

A couple disclaimers where presented to some extent humans by our nature are boring and all good life is inside the parameters set by God. The logical fallacy of circular reasoning shows that living circularly is no way to live. Lastly that life must be taken advantage of and the now must have independent value.  Of course it may not be boring for most to chase after achievements and maybe one day I will live only for the future, but it is not this day.

What is Love? -Telegram #6

What is love? In context of the Christian faith, is love a means or an end? It is both. Love should be the motivator or the means by which the Christian operates.  Comparatively love is an end; it possibly may never be reached. Two things must be understood pertaining to love and how it functions. Both will be further comprehended. First God’s love towards us, secondly how the Christian uses the tool of love. Love should be the motivation of the Christian.

Understanding the impacts of God’s love for us is essential to living the proper Christian life. The first solution to this proposition is defining what is the nature of God's love, which is agape love. In English this means love not bound by circumstance, but it is love bound by a contractual agreement. So much so that it is a part of the Heavenly Father’s nature to love humans.  Completely competent,  El Shaddi’s devotion to the fallen race compels Him to improve them. The principle of love from correction is found in Mark 10:21 “Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, 'one thing you lack: go sell all you posses and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.’” Amazing!  God does not foster disobedience through comfort, but since He understands our potential calls us from darkness to light. Often this is mistaken for illogical judgment and subjugation. God’s devotion compels Him to encourage improvement in us.

Perfect love of God beckons the Christian to hearken unto the voice of the Father. Shown expertly in Romans 12:9 “Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.” Being moved with the love of God is the most beautiful idea. Just as Jesus died on the cross because it was the Father’s will.  Most certainly an expression of love to God is never superfluous. We need to be willing to die on our crosses of sin and vices. Until then we have not truly been moved by love.

Surprisingly God’s love is complete enough that it encourages us to be more ambulatory in our faith. Adding on to that abhorring evil should be a cornerstone of the Christian’s walk. Not out piety, but out of devotion to the Father. This is what I have learned concerning God’s love. Certainly it is not the secular approach, but we were called to be peculiar. So as I try to improve I must remember that however I approach a situation it must be from a place of love. To conclude with a thought provoking maxim from Thomas Aquinas,” The things we love tell us who we are.”

Transcendent Truths -Telegram 5

Facts are exclusive; recently I entered a conversation of a persuasive nature. The back and forth was going splendidly when an imperfection in the argumentation surfaced.  The opposition claimed Hitler as a Christian. I brought apposing evidenced that Hitler talked about Christianity because of the countries heritage, but later and privately an abundance of proof makes obvious his atheistic allegiance.  Clearly a fact can only have one solution, the outcome of the debate rested on the evidence. So what is the significance of exclusive solutions? Exclusivisity is critical to life.

Understanding the components of an argument is the first step to identifying the major parts. Every argument is made up of premises. For example 2+3=5 in an argument would be; 2 is a premise and 3 is a premise using logic it equals 5 which is the solution. A premise is any sort of evidence, when you string together premises with logic you reach a conclusion.  Does the conclusion of 5 change if instead of a three, there is a four? The answer is of course yes.  The premises cannot be relative, because it changes the solution. The same applies to nonchalant terminology or beguiling facts. Essentially definitions must be set in place and stood by.

Are laws and morals relative then? From the evidence above it is clear that to hold an argument relative terms cannot be used. Singularity is an aspect of a balanced conveyed point. A prevailing philosophy which many people have bought into is the idea that actions are relative to society which is moral relativism.  Recently a CNN TV show host made the claim that laws do not come from God which essentially revokes their absoluteness. Maybe this seems irrelevant to a daily life. Would your life be different if you didn't understand 2+3=5? Absolutely and that is just a simple math fact. When your epistemology is missing the mark at the foundation it leads down a dark road void of morality.  The technical term is a slippery slope which means once accepting one truth the next must be accepted and so on. If laws do not come from God, then there is no absolute law giver, if there is no absolute law giver, then there are no absolute laws, if there is no absolute laws, then there is no reason to not shoot anyone who annoys me, and there is no reason to kill people who are under my authority and pose a threat to me. That is how mass genocide is justified. Therefore two million people died under Pol Pot's reign. Obviously a horrid event.

Assessing a quality argument laid the ground work for analyzing personal views on absolutes. Consider this, taking an uncompromisable position may seem rash, but it is the only position worth taking.  If you are not willing to die for a belief it is not a belief worth having.

Fleeting Frailty- Telegraph #4

People accomplish the greatest fetes, people galvanize crowds, people love, people satisfy, people break hearts, people commit genocide, and people destroy. This topic is not an abecedarian one for anyone. A searching soul has already rationalized the topic of people being good and evil.  Setting definitions of viewing people, finding balance, and facing my relationships.  Why we can't stop.

There are two protagonist world views, whether man is naturally good, romantiscm, or people are naturally evil. The zeitgeist is romantiscm. I hold the contrary view that people are naturally wicked, but have potential. As I seek perfection, I distance myself from who I really am. Possibly I am mistaking who I was with my sinful nature.

A balance must be found in relationships. Finding yin and yang often is difficult. The balance is determining if they are hurting more than helping. No one is meant to tackle life alone. God made Adam for Eve. A few qualifiers for people hurting your life is, impairing goals, attacking values, and dilapidating other relationships. It is important to note that this evaluation of others you should also evaluate yourself, because criticism is like chewing gum savor it but don't swallow.

Sometimes it is difficult to carry my worldview into decision making because my disposition which is to think the best of others. When in reality this is not the case. Three things need to be remembered. Your best times will be with people, your worst times will be with people, people were meant to be left. Yes the best time marriage and birth. The worst, divorce and death. Some would call into question people being meant to be left, but it is quite clear humans are made largely independent with very few reasons to come together. Even if your relationships are perfect you or the other person will die, to never be seen again in this life.

So the impact of this is that human beings will cut you deeply and any sane person would distance themselves from this horrible kind altogether but our hearts cry out and we chase phantoms down rabbit holes.

Invaluable Individualism- Telegraph #3

No need to elaborate, everyone is aware of headlines of racism. An issue which must be confronted, but not just with words, but with actions, racism can be solved.  Most defiantly in America's present situation protest will not avail; all they do is strengthen walls of separation.  Truly the solution will not be easy, but it will be simple.  Following the Ockham's razor principle which states that the conclusion which is reached by the fewest assumptions is correct, the simplest way to solve for the problem will be reached and expounded upon.
How can this horrific problem be solved?  Surprisingly, the answer is inside of each individual. Of course this is individuality, the ability to look at each person as totally different. Never writing someone off as an upstanding citizen or a miscreant, is a simple way people can strengthen individualism.    It starts with people abandoning preconceived notions and just analyzing the facts.  That is why the sum of one's actions on earth is not greater than its parts.  "For too long in this society, we have celebrated unrestrained individualism over common community," Joe Biden tried to pedal this and it is not accurate in the realm of racism not just in America, but everywhere.  What happens is people's judgment is clouded by their obligation to race or religion.  This leaves them making uninformed decisions.

All solvable by appreciating how each person is equally innocent till proven guilty. History repeats itself and these same issues are unfolding in America. Uninformed people are making naive judgments on people they do not even know. It is up to the normal American to make this right.   Treat others as individuals.

I have nothing further to share about myself,
Matteo
